ZTE blade A5 2019 don't accept vbmeta custom signed image
(01-12-2021, 08:32 PM)Skorpion06 hi, i'm trying to get a vbmeta custom signed image for ZTE blade A5 2019 (android 9), i've done all the steps at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32664.html but the command: python vbmeta_pad.py completes but the image remains of 16kb, doing that with the android 10 version works but the phone don't accept the image (endless flash with spd research tool). Same with the custom twrp i've built (using [Hovatek] MTK Auto Philz Recovery Porter V1.5 by Team Hovatek). What i've to do to make things work? here is my folder:https://www.mediafire.com/file/pkbphzl2xn55y41/Hovatek_zte_flash.rar/file

Can you help me use that to root the device?

Where did you find this certificate?
(24-10-2022, 08:02 PM)Skorpion06 Sorry for the late reply, I found a firmware with fastboot, now the problem is that I don't have the right vbmeta_4096_rsa.pem since zte uses their own. They won't give me that and unisoc don't answer at all. Btw that .0 files i believe are the internal certs, I found them inside the firmware. But they are installed already so are useless. I wonder what I should do to hack this smartphone
