Hi guys,

i'm trying to convert an E3372h-153 to HiLink mode, because Stick Mode seems to no work on ESXi+OPNSense.
The stick is black and it's not tied to any operator (no sim-lock)
To do, i'm using needle method, the problem is that I cannot find the correct way to flash the firmware+webUI.

Currently i'm trying to use the files:

For stick-only mode: E3372h-153_UPDATE_21.180.01.00.00.BIN
For HiLink mode: E3372h-153_Update_22.333.01.00.00_M_AT_05.10.bin + Update_WEBUI_17.100.18.03.143_HILINK_Mod1.21_V7R2_9x25_V7R11_CPIO.exe

i'm using balong-usbdload to put in USB Mode, then flash E3372h-153_Update_22.333.01.00.00_M_AT_05.10.bin with balongflash. The problem is that to upload the WebUI i need to put again into USB Mode and flash otherwise I receive error on second attempt (without needle trick)

Flashing into stick mode make the USB to works on Windows without any problem, when i'm flashing to HiLink mode, i've the RDIS network adapter on Windows but not IP addresses from the 192.168.8.x, also trying to put address manually don't give me access to the WebUI

Can someone help me?

Thanks!

you can't access the webui if you haven't flashed a compatible webui
if you device disconnects after flashing the firmware, then simply repeat the same needle procedure but flash webui instead of the firmware. for this, you need usblsafe not usbloader as usbloader will erase whatever firmware you previously flashed

Hi X3non,

i'm using this file usblsafe-3372h.bin with USB loader.
Doing the same procedure for the WebUI (boot with needle, load usblsafe-3372h.bin, flash on ttyUSB2 the *.exe file), the behaviour of the stick is the same.

There is a RNDIS Network Card on Windows, but no IP or traffic on that interface, so looks like that something in the flash is wrong Sad

I managed to flash the key on Windows.
Now the RDIS card get the IP but the webUI gives me 404 on each page and led blinks red

What’s wrong?

Thanks
