Hello Friends,

After successfully flashing GSI for my Teclast M30 Pro, I found that that ROM that I flashed has root access or possibly built with SU binary.
So I am looking for GSI ROMs with no root access or no SU binary. There are about hundreds of GSI. It will take me weeks to try and check every single GSI for the one with no root access.
Has somebody found some GSI with no root access?

did you try installing magisk then use magisk hide feature? or using modules such as MagiskHidePropsConfig
there's no guarantee it'll even work

Hello there,

Yes I have tried flashing Magisk and used Magisk hide to hide from Root access detecting by Bank apps.
The thing is Bank apps directly detect root access from SU binary. No matter SU active or not they considered the devices with root access.
I also tried disabling Super User but the bank apps still consider the device to be rooted.
I found out that if Device info app can detect Root Access Available, Bank apps will also consider the device being rooted.

By the way, any suggestion about how to uninstall SU binary from Android system? I googled and tried some methods to unroot SU but no luck.

Hello friends,

I found 2 Android 11 GSI ROMs with no SU binary built in as default.

1. Nusantara GSI

2. FluidOS GSI (This one is based off Pixel OS but there are many tweaked and there is OTA)

From imy test, I could not flash Pixel relative GSI or sort yet. Tried 4-5 Pixel relative GSI ROMs but no luck.

Thank you for your update. Does LOS 18.1 have GAPPS built in as default? Or do you have suggestion of how to install GAPPS for GSI with no GAPP?

Lineage have no gapps,just downloaded the gapp nano,micro or super or full if u have enough space on ur system partition and flash it through TWRP after flashing gsi

For the devices that have TWRP up and running, installing GAPPS would be no problem.
But my device still does not have TWRP for installing GAPPS. That's why I am looking for the method(s) to install GAPPS on GSI with no APPS.

My tablet is Teclast M30 Pro. Most Chinese tablets do not have TWRP ported. That's why I am searching for the method to install GAPPS with no TWRP.
