Hello everyone,
I recently upgraded my HUAWEI E5372 MiFi modem to 21.290.23.01.397 firmware version and the display disappeared; it only shows the battery icon now. I've been trying to downgrade to the original version 21.270.09.00.00 but it throws an ERROR 13 Update failed. I saw the Balong USB Loader from this site and I've tried to use it to wipe the modem with E5372 usbloader.bin I got from XDA website and reinstall, but it doesn't seem to be working. The Balong USB Loader gets to the end but when I try to flash the original firmware it still fails and I am still stuck at 21.290.23.01.397 firmware. Please what can I do to restore the modem to its original firmware?

from info gathered online, you can't downgrade from after flashing any fw above v21.290.21.00.00
you could try searching for either a universal or modified firmware with v21.290.23.00.00 ; see if you are able to flash that

I wasn't able to perform update, even when correct flash code was given and version was greater
I followed steps in vid below and it helped (no datalock, no simlock)

one thing that was hard is to stay in download mode. Since datalock was enabled when I entered force download mode
that crappy firmware with simlock that I flashed earlier was preventing me from staying in dl mode, so I run update.txt
gave flash code, wait for error 13 to happen and then flash FW1 which is custom firmware
Keep in mind that my device hasn't had simlock until I flashed some time ago that firmware from Mobily Saudi Arabia. Remember
