My Samsung Galaxy tablet detects sim cards when I insert sim card it tells me to Restart the device to access mobile network which I do. After restarting it shows No Sim Card | Emergency Calls Only in status bar and the sim is working perfectly fine in other device. Please help cause I have tried factory reset and also flashed the latest firmware by Odin. it still doesn't work

how did this problem begin?
is the baseband unknown? is the imei invalid?
did you cover the sim port properly?

is the baseband unknown? is the imei invalid?
did you cover the sim port properly?

I don't know how it began, the baseband is not unknown and the IMEI is valid. I have covered the sim port properly.

Where can I find these dongles? I searched Google for patching certificate my device needs to be rooted so I have to find TWRP to install.

you should look for mobile repair stores having these dongles / boxes, it's preferrable to buying one just for fixing one device

you don't necessarily need twrp for root, you could patch boot.img using magisk to gain root ; refer to https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html

I don't know if you'd been using SIMs on this tab before this started but possible sceanrios are:
1. Network lock
2. Incompatible firmware (or EFS) had been flashed
3. Damaged SIM slot
4. Wrong network mode (try setting to 2G only)

Yes, I have been using SIM on this tab before this started. These sceanrios does not apply here
1. It's not network locked tablet. I have tried putting different SIMs.
2. Not Incompatible firmware. I had not flashed anything before I had this problem then I flashed stock rom.
3. Not Damaged SIM slot. How come it detects when a SIM card has been inserted in the sim slot.
4. Network mode is set to Auto and I can't change it.

Can someone look at the service mode *#0011# attached screenshot if there is a problem. Nothing changes in it when I insert or remove the sim card.

I think you should have the SIM slot checked. If this began suddenly and flashing the firmware / factory reset made no difference..and it didn't start after an OTA update or change was made, it points at a potential hardware problem. or maybe APN configuration
