Hi I'm trying to unlock my bootloader.
I followed this tutorial,

I have got the token and created signature.bin but My device isn't prompting unlocking message.
The terminal says,
downloading 'unlock_message'...
OKAY [ 0.000s]
unlocking bootloader...
FAILED (remote: Unlock bootloader fail.)
finished. total time: 0.071s
my device is "itel p36pro L6501"
I have attached the "vbmeta-sign.img" as zip, which I extracted from the latest uploaded stock rom for my device.

I have attached the "vbmeta-sign.img" as zip, which I extracted from the latest uploaded stock rom for my device.
from your vbmeta, your device clearly uses a different private key than the generic one used in our guide

So, what to do now? How can I unlock the bootloader? Will I be ever able to taste the root of this budget device?

you won;t be able to unlock bootloader unless you manage to get the private key used for your device model. you can try reaching out to the oem, see if they can provide it for you

you need a linux environment but that's the least of your worries cause you also need to right private key fir your model (which is not available)

only the device OEM can provide the private key they used on the said device
