NO SIGNAL TO VIDA MI AIRTEL MIFI AFTER UNLOCK

I need help I unlocked the Airtel Vida M1 MIFI using the guide from http://zipansion.com/3RvTJ The unlocking was successful and I was able to use another sim card. When I switched off to put back the Airtel sim the MIFI couldn’t show the signal (i.e. the signal symbol had an X indicating no signal) and I am not able to access the browser despite the com port showing in device manager. When you try to type in the browser //192.168.0.1, a message comes on the screen that says ''connection refused''

when you reinsert the foreign sim, does the device still detect network signals? and can you access the web management page?

retry the entire unlock procedure again, see if it still works and if it does then confirm if the device detects sim upon completing the unlock procedure
