Hello team, I also needed a firmware for MTN smart M5631M3.. But I read post that it will be posted once available, but how come I thought this firmware is already available since the day of programming
??

But this devices even spare parts not yet available.

I have got this new version of cm2sp2, but still this device cannot format or wipe data, CPU platform is sc7731E_base emmc 512mb_as. But when you want format, says wipe fail, wipe OK (frp). And when you identity, says device info. After next line userdsta;STATE DAMAGED, when you want read firmware, says error: device not initialized! Initialize it first via "identify" make sure you have Identify first. But when u do identify, the results are above "user data state damaged.
Is there any other boot maybe missing??

the phone in question, does it still boot to homescreen?
try factory resetting in settings then retry the backup
