[Please help] COOLPAD 8297-T01 TWRP RECOVERY PORTING

HI EVERYONE ITS BEEN A WHILE I POSTED HERE ,
AM HERE TODAY TO SE IF I CAN FIND A WAY TO MAKE A CUSTOM RECOVERY FOR MY COOLPAD 8297-T01 BUT MY PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I TRY TO BACK THE BOOT AND STOCK RECOVERY FILES VIA MIRACLE THUNDER THE FILES ARE NOT IN .IMG FORMAT JUST RAW FORMAT WHICH MAKE THE WHOLE PROCESS HARDER FOR ME TO FIGURE OUT AM ROOTED ALREADY. AM DOING THIS BECAUSE THE PHONE IS A 4G AND 3G PHONE SIM 1 AND 2G ONLY ON SIM 2 BUT NO MATTER What i try 3g or 4g wont show up only 2g so i want to install twrp on it and flash a custom rom that might fix it

If mtk then go to engineer mode and force your device to 4g mode or which mode you want.

ITS A QUALCOMM DEVICE AND I HAVE TRIED THAT TOO WEN I FORCE TO 3G OR 4G IT WONT BRING OUT SERVICE MS919

for your backup, you can rename and add a file extension e.g from recovery to recovery.img
for the no 3g / 4g, did you confirm that the network frequencies supported on this device matches with that from your network provider sim?
