The system will display this message "Do you want to change the color scheme to improve performance" Each time it comes up, the system become very slow and hardly respond to commands for few minutes.
The system is Zinox C4109. Os: Windows 7 ultimate, 32bit. Ram 2gb. Processor 2.30GHz. Rom 150gb, 82gb free as at this moment.

what about startup programs, did you turn them all off? anti viruses, how many do you have installed?
you screenshot even shows an AV interface, where you performing a scan?

I have only 360 total security anti virus. yes I was performing a scan.

this can be classified as a resource intensive task on your PC specs, as mentioned by @freshtyt either switch to basic theme (windows should revert back to your default theme when you logon to windows again) OR you wait out the lag time
the message isn't really an error message, just a warning and possible fix to help with the lag
