i have (important) update on my windows 8.1. so, i am kinda scared for, if i upgrade it, will that delete all my file? i just want to know, by upgrading this, what will wiped out?

regular user files such as documents & media files never get wiped during updates
some installed programs may not work correctly after updating, in which case you'll need to reinstall them

upgrading doesn't wipe drives either.
only if you're doing a fresh and clean windows installation will you be able to wipe / format a drive
