[Tutorial] How to bind a Mi account to a PC in Mi Flash Tool

This tutorial will explain how to bind your Mi account to a PC before using Mi Flash tool. This is a requirement for flashing Xiaomi devices which require account authorization (authorized Mi account) in order to flash.
Requirements
- Download Mi Flash Tool @ http://bigota.d.miui.com/tools/MiFlash2018-5-28-0.zip
- Authorized Mi account ID & password
Steps to bind a Mi account to a PC
Follow the steps below to bind your authorized Mi account to a PC for flashing
- Launch account_auth.exe located in the mi folder of Mi flash tool

- Click English at the top-right corner

- In the prompt, select the option on the right

- Re-launch account_auth.exe and input your login credentials

Important Notice
- If your Mi account isn't authorized for flashing then you'll need to apply for authorization
- You can identify authorization issues by Unauthorized for this operation or unauthorized xiaomi account errors
