MauMeta Not Detecting My Phone After Connecting Via Usb

Am using Tecno Canon Cx Air (rooted) I want to write imei to the phone with Maumeta software but it isn't detecting my phone after connecting it to PC via USB.

I have Mediatek Vcom Preloaded installed. Am using Maui Meta V9.1724.0.00

try using CDC drivers for maui meta @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16640.html
check device manager and update the driver its connect as when your phone boots into meta mode
if not then try other methods @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-116.html

launch device manager before carrying out the operation on the phone
when you connect the phone to the PC for the operation, device manager will always refresh once a new device is detected
immediately after the refresh, check device manager for the newly detected device usually appears under PORTS
BTW not every mtk phone will be show up in meta mode, which means sn writer and maui meta and any other tool that tries to connect to meta mode for writing imei wont work as well. there are other methods @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-116.html

Since you had rooted your phone..
Better you use Chamelophone or Mobile Uncle apk to repair imei
