Dear X3non,
Thanks for the response, there has been a latest update, by the time i sent that message i was on oreo, now am on android 9 pie, for some reasons the same guy who aided me with the update for pie was also gonna help me root, but got lost in the process, so he gave me a link where i got a boot.img hoping its for pie, also gave me info on what to turn on in developer options which i did, but along the line it seems my PC didn't aline with his methods. i will check ur link now to see if it helps out from here..

just be sure you're using boot.img for the exact build number on your phone

Have you tried backing up your firmware to obtain the boot.img

(26-10-2019, 03:40 PM)falose please my own prob is that when i back up with miracle box i saw boot_para boot_a boot_b i don.t know the real boot to use so i decided to use the available boot.img you uploaded wheni downloaded it i saw2 boot image as well don't know the one to patch
the correct boot to use from your backup will either be boot_a or boot_b but first you need to verify the current active slot on your device
you can do that using the fastboot command below

fastboot getvar current-slotif the output is a then patch and use boot_a, if its b then patch and use boot_b
if you still have any other problems, then create a new thread for your device issue by clicking "ask question" at the top then post
