Important Notice
  • You must have an active internet connection if this is the first time you are installing this tool OR using this tool to flash a particular device model
  • Downloading of firmware can be interrupted / failed and resumed at a later time. Luckily, this tool automatically continues download from where it last stopped or failed.
  • The firmware file format for windows phones is .FFU
  • For subsequent installation, you do not need an internet so long as the FFU firmware file has been placed in the proper location
  • You can backup the FFU firmware file incase you need it later. The FFU file can be located at C:\ProgramData\"your OEM"\Packages\Products\"your phone model"\
    e.g "C:\ProgramData\BLU\Packages\Products\W510U"
  • "ProgramData" folder is hidden on most windows computer so you must enable viewing of hidden folder to view and access the folder

no, it will only take a longer timer to download the firmware. each time the download fails, you'll need to click retry to resume download
