All details of Huawei mifi will be wiped away after successfully unlocking by flashing USBloader. This guide will show how to change WiFi SSID and Password after successfully unlocking

Steps on How to Change WiFi SSID and Password after unlocking your Huawei Mifi using Balong and USBloader

1. Install Huawei drivers for your model [you must have done this during the unlock procedure so you can skip it]
   
2. Power on the Mifi device
   
3. Disconnect the PC from any WiFi network its currently connected to
   
4. Connect the Mifi device to the PC using a USB cord. This will make the MiFi your source of internet connection (although you might not have internet access)
   
5. Open your browser then visit 192.168.8.1 or 192.168.1.1
   
6. This should open the web management page
   
7. Click on login and since this is the first login, you'll be prompted to set a new username and password which you'll use to login the web management page
   
8. Once done, then you should be able to change the SSID and Password from Settings page
   
9. You can then disconnect the MiFI from the USB cord and connect to its wireless network on the PC
   

Important Notice

• You can also try to connect to the WiFi network using 12345678 as WiFi password / key (before going though the above steps). The default WiFi SSID will look something like Huawei-******
  
• You might need to configure the APN settings from the dashboard to enable you connect to the internet via the MiFI
  
• If you're using a custom dashboard and run into constant refreshes (which doesn't allow you do anything) then install the default Huawei dashboard
