I pulled out battery of my new Cubot note plus phone during data restoration via Google account cause of data consumption, hoping to continue on public WiFi,
When I tried to continue, my touchpad was no longer responsive...and there was no physical damage done to the phone.

I have done factory reset as well as flashing the stock ROM, yet no Solution.

I don't know what could have caused the whole screen to just become unresponsive at once... Pls help!!!

Do you have a calibration reset option in factory mode (vol down + power)

and you are 100% sure the phone didn't drop to the ground?
do you remember the original build number of your device?
if no, then try flashing other firmware builds @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-10122.html

How exactly did you end up with the Google Account (Factory Reset Protection) screen in the first place. Could you shed more light on this

its either incompatible firmware or some kind of hardware failure
there are 3 roms in the link i posted, try all three if it still remains the same then consider having a look at the hardware
