In this guide you will learn how to download Official Sony Xperia firmware using XperiFirm tool, using random firmware cause dead/hard brick phone but this tool helps you identify the firmware for your build no./region.
Requirements:
- Download XperiFirm tool
- Windows PC 32 or 64bit
Steps to Download Official Sony Xperia Firmware using XperiFirm Tool
Follow the below steps to download Official Sony Xperia Firmware
- Open XperiFirm, Scroll, Search and Click your Device Model from the Left Side Bar

- Click on the Globe icon, this will open all available firmware for the regions, if your region isn't listed try other one.

- Click on your Region

- Click on the firmware version
Here under available firmware it depends on the firmware available for your device, if you've seen more than one firmware then check the one that matches your firmware version. Check version under Settings>About

- Click on Download

- Select Location to save the firmware and Click OK

- Downloads window will open and you will see the Download Progress.

Important Notice
- You'll need to convert the files to single .ftf to Sony Flash tool.
