A. Can the W2-AW600B-M-170808V24 firmware work on a W2-AW600B1-M-170314V19 device? Or is there a difference between the B and B1 devices?
B. If not can W2-AW600B1-M-170314V19 be downgraded to the version available here (W2-AW600B1-M-61103V15)?

Both A and B are uncertain, seeing as tecno had a good number of variants of the same phone models flying back then. Unless you try it out yourself, then you won't find out

I then flashed only the system partition of a AW600B1-M on a AW600B-M using sp flash tool but maintained my boot.img (did not change it). It worked.

So generally, doing A and B is possible. Just avoid flashing the boot image of the version not yours or else the phone will bootloop (I also experienced this). Exercise care.
