Pay attention, read thread well. You can't be stuck on upganda firmware .
Revisit guide, pay attention carefully

You don't really need new Internet configuration

Unless, it can't access the Internet for some other reasons.

A picture will be helpful

Boss please after I unlocked my device and set up the password it does not connect to the wireless but when I disabled the password it connects

The L02C has many board version. This guide works on all L02C16XXXXXXX, e.g. L02C160103-0924, if your board serial bears this 16XX, it means you have the board made in 2016 with subsequent month and day which may also fall within the range to avoid WTPTP ERROR

THE NEWER L02C WITH 17XXXXXX HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY UNLOCKED WITH IMEI METHOD, Will Upload soon

WHY WTPTP ERROR

The modem boot-loader files (fbf) which includes NTIM and OBMI; must be verified. The error apppears in some models because these boot files are newer *(Version Date) than firmware (files) to be flashed. For example a board version L02C17XXXXXXX will constantly show error with L02C16XXXXXXX firmware, If board date is higher than firmware version Date with month it may still show error even with same year as in L02C1609XXXX and L02C1611XXXXX........ why because boot file version(*Date) must be higher or equal in order to initialize burning or erase flash.

In short check board date, it must not be higher than firmware date version

NB: FOLLOW L02B GUIDE TO INSTALL LTE GENERIC DRIVERS AND WTPTP DRIVERS

LETS START

FILES NEEDED

1. L02BUganda1_M023_LCD_V003_8801_2.144.000_20161117_1030_SIGN

2. Airtel_M023_Chiva_L02C_v001_2.95.000_20141127_1630

Some of the ways to downgrade is to disconnect during erase flash, this damages the bootloader files such that subsequent flashing somehow modem now permit any firmware boot files. In this case you can now flash any firmware of your choice to open-line modem

1. Files

2. A.Load Files in SWDownloader, Tick manually RBL1 and RBLR check box(all files must be checked)

B. In Options, check erase all flash,
C. Click on green button to start
D. Connect Mifi to pc without battery to start, i assume you have installed driver using L02B guide for WTPTP and LTE generic drivers
E. Disconnect at 3-6% erasing flash, it this skipped you fast, repeat this step and disconnect at before 10% erase flash

3. LETS FLASH THE OPENLINE MODIFIED FIRMWARE

This is an Airtel Chiva L02C firmware modified originally and LED modified With OSLO and ReliableData from L02B Uganda firmware to enable LCD and enhance MEP settings. Please dont ask for further explanation or why. OSLO controls LCD and ReliableData is the main file responsible for Security(Unlock)

Flash this firmware to Openline, allow flashing to proceed and finish

Connect mifi to pc and login to IP address, IP address changes depending on firmware, Check in Network Settings Properties of Network For IP address and Login with username as "admin"and password as "admin".

Now insert non default sim card, insert battery now and power On

Initial boot logo unavailable but LCD should power on after some mins

Connect Modem to PC, it displays PH NET PIN---

Login to Modem

Click on Internet Tab

Locate MEP SETTINGS

UNLOCK CODE IS 123456 TO UNLOCK PN

Searching for Signal---3g Network displayed..................Unlock Done

NB----After Openline you need to configure wiireless Settings, some users may have difficulty connecting to Wifi

Do manual configuration of wireless settings to function as normal

Some 4g networks are not supported due to downgrade firmware used to Open line, In future newer firmware will improve 4g problem

NB
after every reset, mifi displays PH-NET PIN, login and in Internet Tab, mep settings Unlock pn with 123456 to access network again, dont forget
