You DO NOT need to wipe data / factory reset before flashing this ROM. Doing a data wipe / factory reset in Clockworkmod sometimes results in Null IMEI for some people (see: How to fix unknown Basebrand version, null / invalid IMEI & SIM card not detected @ http://www.hovatek.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=116 ) . you can just clear cache.

How to Flash

1. Root your Tecno Device (Follow this guide on how to root a Tecno phone @ http://www.hovatek.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1  )
2. Flash Clockworkmod to your phone and make a backup (Follow this guide on How to flash Clockworkmod to a Tecno phone @ http://www.hovatek.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=75)
3. Copy the Keslar ROM to your memory card and boot your phone into recovery mode (switch off the phone then press Volume increase button + power button and keep holding both down )
4. Select Flash zip from SD card
5. Select the Keslar ROM then click Yes to confirm.

# Bug fixes:
If you keep seeing Android is upgrading even after installing the Custom ROM then :

* Install a Root Explorer like Root explorer, ES file manager or ROM toolbox lite
* Go to System > apps
* Delete Makah Madinah Live Wallpapers.apk
* Restart the phone

yes, you can install fonts, it has been deodexed. SImply follow this guide on how to change fonts on an Android phone without bricking to do it.

awesome!!! downloaded it over the night and undoubtedly, I am seeing some positive changes... I want to ask, if I format my phone ie erase the memory via the factory reset icon, would I still retain this magnificient outfit?

@chikayere, yes you should. Some issues that might occur if reset is not done properly are:
1. Phone keeps bootlooping, shows Android logo, Tecno logo then restarts
* Fix: Remove the battery if the loop lasts longer than 5 minutes > slot it back in > power the phone > just leave it to continue looping till the process is competed > The phone will boot normally after some time

2. Null IMEI / Baseband / SIM card not detected
* Fix: Read How to fix unknown
Baseband version, null / invalid IMEI & SIM card not
detected

3. ERR 0x10
* Fix: How to fix WiFi NVRAM WARNING: ERR 0x10
