Hi, I have an issue with my PC, whenever I boot it, it will automatically run a check on the C volume and finally say, "can not open volume for direct access. Autochk can not run due to an error caused by a recently installed package". I noticed my PC have been slowing down since the issue began. I have attached the screenshot of the error message.
I tried system restore but it wasn't successful, I also used Cleaner to no avail. How do I fix the mess please.

This is often caused by a software blocking chkdsk.
1. Did you recently install an antivirus or antimalware
2. What error did you get with system restore?
Aside from uninstalling antivirus , another possible fix is to:
* Insert a WIndows DVD and boot the PC from the DVD
* Select Repair you computer
* Tick Use recovery tools that can help fix starting Windows
* Click Command prompt
* Run chkdsk on C: from the command prompt

# i hope you have made a backup of your important files (very important).
# have you tried the system repair fix suggested by @Hovatek ?
# if you have a second PC, you can try slaving your HDD to the second PC, then attempt scanning for and repairing errors.
lets know how it goes
