The step recommended for use didn't work as it ends up with error when trying to flash TWRP.... I just found out there is March update. Before I update my phone (thanks to Hovatek for teaching me that) pls I have some questions.
1. Does the rooting method works with this March update coz it didn't work with January build.
2. If yes pls what options do I choose on SP flash tools : download only or firmware update

3. will I lose my apps and other information on it (as it's d same and am just updating)

1. It should work with Jan, Feb and March builds
2. If its for TWRP only then download only. If for ROM Dump update then Firmware upgrade
3. If you dont want to lose data then untick userdata and use download only

That twrp didn't work ends up with dbroom error target am trying to load is not the same.... Something like that is the message I get all the time... Is it actually possible to root 6.0 on infinix x510? Cos this is the first time I would try something like this for months and no solution... Old really need ur help

I need to see a full screenshot of the error message.

Thats error 5054. Its an incompatibility error.
Don't attempt flashing any further.
Yours seems to be a different variant.
1. What's your phone's Build Number?
2. What's the RAM and ROM
3. Dump your firmware in scatter format using Miracle Box @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html and let me know when done
