Windows Experience Index is a performance rating covering your CPU, RAM, Harddisk (HDD), 2D and 3D graphics. It was first introduced in Windows Vista and continued down to Windows 8. 
On Windows 8.1 and 10 however, this settings has been removed from the control panel (Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Performance Information and Tools) as seen in the picture below.

BUT if you still want to know the actual ratings of your PC, simply follow the procedures below

Requirements

  • WEI (download from the attachments below)

How to View Windows Experience Index (WEI) on Windows 8.1 & 10


  1. Extract the contents of the WEI.zip file to any folder then run WEI.exe as administrator

  2. Wait while the tool loads and once done, it would display the scores
