Am a proud member of Hovatek though I might not participate squarely, but its in my bookmarks.
Due to recent development, I will like you to leave Mybb for a better forum software, not that Mybb isn't OK, but its responsiveness on mobile is laggy.
A situation whereby u try to post a topic, or reply the forum will be moving here and there...They are some more features which Mybb also lacks that's is needed by a forum..
From my point I will like you to switch to either vbulletin or xenforo, those two are marvelous softwares, xenforo in particular... It will give your forum a befitting look, you can take a look at an example of it here bloggersarenna.com
There is one amazing feature I love about it, despite all its other features, is the availability of a Homepage where u move some speciuc thread to. Similar to nairaland frontpage, which will take out the need for a blog...
There are so many other features with amazing effects in it. You can access it yourself...
All this are my opinion though...
