I tried flashing it with 4.4 firmware downloaded from your site and I get this error BROM ERROR: S_CHIP_TYPE_NOT_MATCH(3168). But when I flashed it with 4.2 firmware, it accept it without any error but the phone reboot at tecno logo.

Can you get access to a working P9 4.2 phone?

Can you please help to upload another working P9 OS 4.2 rom because about 3 of my friends that format their phone and use your rom to flash it are having the same problem.

@matybazz, it is tecno P9 rom OS version 4.2. There are 2 variants of tecno P9, OS Version 4.2 and 4.4, but I need version 4.2

I have flashed the phone with a backup rom collected from a friend and the phone is working perfectly now. Thanks for your support anyway, but I will advice that you remove that Tecno P9 mtkbackup OS 4.2 from your download site cos that file is not ok at all.

This same 4.2 rom has worked on a good number of P9 4.2 phones. We'll look into your case.
