Status bar stopped working after doing a factory reset.
flashed the stock firmware again but the problem still persists.

could you explain in detail

Status bar don't respond in portrait mode while sliding down. I can see the notifications but cannot open them in portrait mode but its working normally in landscape mode Huh

lets be sure that touch does work at that part of the screen.
Are you able to slide down to reveal the list of notifications or you cant even slide it down at all?
Also, try installing a third party launcher to see if the issue persists

yes the touch is working fine.checked with screen touch test.
It was working fine until i did a factory reset.Now i'm not able to slide down the notification list at all in portrait mode.
also tried two different launchers google now & zenUi launcher but same thing happening

enter your pattern and see if the notification bar issue persists

Tried porting this rom

Status bar is now working on this rom but got another problem with the screen orientation or sensors.
Which files do I need to replace on the ported rom for the sensors to work?
