(08-07-2019, 02:47 PM)hello bro, that still didnt fix the baseband unknown after using software download aftersales for upgrade...i am just confused while the baseband is not writing after full flash, or does it need a similar phone rom to flash with..freshtyt(07-07-2019, 09:49 PM)mykeljosh34 i was able to find only 2 roms available online, i flashed with the 2nd rom and was stuck at fastboots and keep on rebooting, but the 1st rom was fine after flash but didnt fix the baseband unknown, not sure to find another exact phone soon but would keep on searchin for same phone.
try flashing the factory firmware using "firmware upgrade" or "format all + download" in software download @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23709.html

thats what it looks like and you'll probably need from the phone's exact build
but just to confirm, after flashing does the phone still go through initial setup OR it boots straight to the homescreen?
(10-07-2019, 09:43 PM)okay brom must it be of the same build number i needed or any build of same phone model can do? and pls give thread link on how to do backup or extract full firmware from a phone.thanks freshtyt(10-07-2019, 04:10 PM)mykeljosh34 yes it boots to the initial setup configuration..

(11-07-2019, 08:04 PM)I noticed that if i load the rom in spf tools, the SECRO file is not loading in the sp tool but its available in the firmware files folders but sp tools does not show it when i load the scatter file? i guess maybe thats why the full flash didnt correct the unknown baseband as SECRO is meant to fix such errors? hovatek(11-07-2019, 09:37 AM)mykeljosh34 you'll need to look for a phone same model without baseband problem to backup from
Its usually best to use one of the same build number as yours but anyone of a close build number should do. A factory signed rom would be ideal unless you're going via TWRP backup & restore method

(12-07-2019, 01:00 PM)i didnt find the secro partition in the scatter files either, but i saw something similar "seccfg" so i thought to be it so i set it to true and then reload the scatter file in sp tool but get error : can not set the above partition to be true, to set it as false, i also change the "seccfg" to secro partition name maybe its a typo error but still same error also when set to false, sptool still didnt load the secro img?innagee(12-07-2019, 09:35 AM)mykeljosh34(11-07-2019, 08:04 PM)I noticed that if i load the rom in spf tools, the SECRO file is not loading in the sp tool but its available in the firmware files folders but sp tools does not show it when i load the scatter file? i guess maybe thats why the full flash didnt correct the unknown baseband as SECRO is meant to fix such errors? hovatek(11-07-2019, 09:37 AM)mykeljosh34 you'll need to look for a phone same model without baseband problem to backup from

Open the scatter file using notepad or notepad++ and search for secro partition then edit is_download: false to is_download: true , that will make sp flash tool enable flashing secro partition.
