Infinix pushes full OTA update to Android Marshmallow 0202 (testing) for the Infinix Hot 2 X510
Infinix just pushed a full OTA update for the Infinix Hot 2 X510 to Android 6 (Marshmallow) 0202. From what we can tell so far, its a test run so do not expect it to be perfect. In previous guides, we explained how to upgrade your Infinix Hot 2 X510 to Android Marshmallow (like https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-upgrade-infinix-hot-2-x510-to-android-6-marshmallow/) so you might want to check them out if you’ve still not upgraded.
Before you install the Android M 0202 OTA update for Infinix Hot 2 X510, you need to unroot your phone using the guide at https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-root-and-unroot-an-infinix-hot-2-x510-running-on-android-6-marshmallow/ . For unrooting, you are advised to use either the January or February builds of the SP flash tool friendly formats (ROM Dumps) of the Infinix Hot 2 X510 Marshmallow updates created by Team Hovatek. This will save you the stress and data of returning to Lollipop then downloading several OTAs from scratch.

How to update Infinix Hot 2 X510 to Android M 0202 OTA update
After unrooting, navigate to Settings > About > System Update. Search for, download and install the OTA update. Its about 836 MB.
It says my system is up to date, what do I do?
It means the rolled out OTA hasn’t yet reached you, exercise some patience. If you can’t wait then you could download the extracted OTA zip file. We will upload that as soon as possible.

Boss what are the difference of the January and February build? How do we know or check if the device is on January or February build?

Hi please I need the stockroom for nummy note 7…virus affected mine…its turning it on data itself…always opening a file called engriks,etc…pls I need solution..thanks
