(20-05-2016, 11:20 PM)theother been breaking my head in for days with my new oukitel k4000pro, mine is based on the MT6735P chipset. The MT6735M ouki ROM's are available in various places, but not the P.
So, i've been loosing myself in various pages & forums trying to extract & backup my original ROM with no success.
I've managed to get MTKdroidtools to extract a scatterfile, it actually looks good & loads up into the flasher, but then gives me errors on readback. I have done the hex conversion as basic as it may seem..simply to change all the starting zeros' to 0x.
If someone here can guide me on successfully extracting this rom.
I've seen your videos on youtube & reckon there is a good bit of experience here..good going & thanks for doing a great job

I forgot my Privacy Protection Password and need to flash my phone, I've downloaded the firmware, SP flash tool and MediaTek USB VCOM drivers. I installed the VCOM driver using device manager as per instructions but each time I connect my phone to PC it only charges, SP flash tool doesn't detect it.
Note:
Phone is Leagoo Shark1 with in-built battery
PC runs on Windows 7 64 Bit
I turned off digital signature
