[Please help] NEED HELP TO UNLOCK IPHONE 5 ICLOUD ACCOUNT

An iphone 5 with ios7 was sent to me from south Africa and I d Icloud acct is still locked and there is no way to unlock it and thus render d iphone useless. i tried to consult d sender, but himself just bought d phone without any knowing anything about it. pls, i need help to remove the icloud account. thanks
