I have a ZTE MF193M USB modem that's SIM-locked to its original carrier. I've already done some diagnostics and would appreciate help getting the right firmware or unlock method.
Details:
Model: ZTE MF193M
IMEI: 869334002602939
Current firmware: BD_MF193MV1.0.1B02
COM port detected fine (Application port), Diagnostic port not yet used
What I've tried:
DC-Unlocker detects the modem (IMEI, firmware) but fails with "modem not found" when reading SIM lock status. Confirmed with DC-Unlocker support that this model isn't officially supported.
Ran AT commands directly via serial to check lock status:
AT+CLCK="PN",2 → +CLCK: 1 (locked)
AT+CLCK="PU",2 → +CLCK: 0
AT+CLCK="PP",2 → +CLCK: 0
AT+CLCK="PC",2 → +CLCK: 0
AT+CLCK="PF",2 → +CLCK: 0
So only the Network Personalization (PN) lock is active — a standard carrier SIM lock, nothing more complex.
Tried AT^CARDLOCK? and AT+CARDLOCK? (Huawei-style) — both returned ERROR, as expected since this is ZTE.
What I'm looking for:
An unbranded/generic MF193M firmware that doesn't carry the carrier SIM lock (I found builds like 276000B0239BD_MF193MV1.0.1B01 and 274330B0364BD_MF193MV1.0.1B02 on a paid firmware site, but can't confirm which — if any — are unlocked/unbranded before paying)
Or a known-working AT command sequence / NCK unlock method specific to this model
Any pointers on the right flash tool for this model, or where to source a genuinely unbranded firmware, would be really appreciated. Happy to test and report back with results.
