[Please help] facing a network issue on GSIs (mtk device)

on almost every gsi ive tested i experience this issue where the network doesnt work. people on telegram have told me to execute the following adb command:
"adb shell settings put global
restricted_networking_mode 0"
now when i run this command the network does start working. ive heard that its just a one time thing but for me it works only temporary and i would have to run the command again the next time the network stops working randomly.
i would appreciate it if somebody could give me a permanent fix to this issue. thank you.
phone specs: mtk g96, kernel 4.19.191 with android 12 vendor

You can try to permanently disable captive portal using the command below.

adb shell settings put global captive_portal_mode 0
adb shell settings delete global captive_portal_http_url
adb shell settings delete global captive_portal_https_url
