Well,I want to thank you for your assistance and the knowledge i have gained on this forum.
But now my question remains,how can i be able to root tecno kc8. i have tried magisk with fastboot. done everything the rightway with help of youtube videos but failed.
i have attached the screenshot of what i did

Did you unlock the phone’s bootloader?
the device uses system-as-root, you're to patch recovery not boot. follow the same technique as seen @ https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-gain...rk-go-kc1/
just ensure that you use recovery.img for your phone's build number
