and did you use a custom DA while attempting to flash?
(11-08-2019, 07:17 PM)papa123 The files i downloded came with its own DA so i used that one.See the picture for the response whenever i try to write the twrp recovery

are you referring to the default DA in SP flash tool? try the DA files listed @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23365.html
if that doesn't work then try a different approach, unlock bootloader then flash using fastboot
(12-08-2019, 04:00 PM)papa123 I have tried the DA from the link you sent but it is still giving the same error. Concerning the bootloader unlocking Whenver i tried the fastboot get oem unlock code command it doesnt work so i went to the motorola website to check if my device was supported but i didnt see it among the list.
(13-08-2019, 07:26 PM)X3nonSorry i created another thread concerning the same issue. I actually did some digging on XDA forums and found out that someone also was not able to communicate with the sp flash tool after the gps update. I have tried the download method and readback option in sp flash tool but it gives me the same error. One thing i noticed was that whenever i hold the volume down after hitting the download button the error changes to s_auth_handle_not_ready please provide authentication file first although i am using a custom DA.(12-08-2019, 04:00 PM)papa123 I have tried the DA from the link you sent but it is still giving the same error. attach a full screenshot of download tab in sp flash tool just before you switch to write memory tab
then try doing either a regular download only or readback of any partition using the custom DA and SP flash tool
