recently i got two devices with water damage problem,it's a redmi 5a and micromax q402+.
Redmi 5a has can't connect camera (rear)issue  &
Micromax Q402+ has very low brightness problem,i can't see anything in night without pointing a torch to the screen.
Now i am going to dissemble both phones and check (probably try to change). if the camera and display (TFT )both are bad or the motherboard has problem 
ANY Help is greatly appreciated ?????

Firstly, you have to take care of the moisture (water) by blow drying both boards, then test components again.
For the "can't connect to camera" issue, you have to factory reset first, if it doesn't work, flash, if it still doesn't work, then replace camera, then check the chip responsible for the camera.

For the one with dim screen, factory reset first, if it is not solved, then change screen.
