also compare  handheld_core_hardware.xml and platform.xml from stock to port
I have succefully manage to work camera but auto rotation semi work
everthing work fines except auto rotation (still find solution but works on my other port) and VoLTE (fixed soon)
can you send me links or list some phones with sc9832 android nougat rom having nice looking system ui.
i recently ported idos ui 7.2 Rom

Like you, I was looking for a Nougat
sc9832a firmware with a nice UI but the only ones I found Evercoss M50 Star and Advan E5 4G like yours, there was also an Androimax but only the SystemUI was different but the settings interface etc looks like my stock so ... By the way I already tried to port this firmware (Advan) for my device using Research Download but since all the files are signed, it gave me errors (I have already used my fld1/2 but its firmware has 3). 

You're really lucky to have a device with TWRP touch input working, because with CTR and MIUI, I cannot install a system.img file. And even after restoring the Backup, my device does't boot up (bootloop) ... 


Can you do me a favor bro? I tried to
make a backup and restore them with Flashify commands and it works, and if you could make a backup of the system and boot this Advan for me, I could port it and restore using Flashify, please when you will have time ...

I'm tired of my ugly stock, I used to use beautiful UI on my old device (MT6580
MM K3.18.19) which has several ROM & Tweaks, many devs work on this chip/kernel and even the existing ROMS always received updates (like DotOS etc)

For porting rom for you i need your stock boot.img and screen size resolution. Lcd density.
Instead direct flashing in RDT .you can use assyed kitchen .
For sign system.img and boot.img you have to unsign it before use it on assayed kitchen.
You can use img unsign tool. I can guide you if you stuck anywhere
