I have an acer c720 running win10. I mistakenly flashed an efi bios on it and since then it never boot past the command prompt. I have tried to reinstall windows but it stops at the hard drive to install on. It says can only install on efi drive not mbr. Pls, I want win10 back on yhe system. What can i do? Help pls.

I take it what you have is "Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected diask has an MBR partition table. On EFI system, Windows can only be installed on GPT disks"

Note: You'll lose your data.
Restart the installation process. The click Install Now. When you're prompted for the product key, hold Shift + F10
Run these commands

Code:

diskpart
list disk
delect disk (and whatever number disk you want to change)
clean
convert GPT

Or you can pull the disk from the laptop (if you can), connect as external and format as GPT.

Ok..
let me explain what i did in my hp pavilion dv6 7012tx laptop when i get in same situation.

1. The system can boot in legacy mode (mbr) too in your current bios if you haven't disabled  legacy boot in bios(in some situation secure boot enabled ,always disable legacy mode)
Try to setup bios so it can boot with legacy(mbr)mode too
2.this solution is quite complicated but read carefully
If you have an another working system (or borrow someone's) download minitool partition wizard iso free(or full version) and burn it to cd or make a bootable usb, and boot with cd or usb (setup your bios to boot with usb or cd) 
.After successfully boot select the disk and right click ,chose  convert gpt  (this will convert your mbr disk to into gpt without losing any data
3.now if you have no problem to lose your current window 10 os then you can delete that partition and reinstall windows in UEFI mode

Some bios doesn't allows it self to be downgraded.
