Or you can pull the disk from the laptop (if you can), connect as external and format as GPT.

Ok..
let me explain what i did in my hp pavilion dv6 7012tx laptop when i get in same situation.
1. The system can boot in legacy mode (mbr) too in your current bios if you haven't disabled legacy boot in bios(in some situation secure boot enabled ,always disable legacy mode)
Try to setup bios so it can boot with legacy(mbr)mode too
2.this solution is quite complicated but read carefully
If you have an another working system (or borrow someone's) download minitool partition wizard iso free(or full version) and burn it to cd or make a bootable usb, and boot with cd or usb (setup your bios to boot with usb or cd)
.After successfully boot select the disk and right click ,chose convert gpt (this will convert your mbr disk to into gpt without losing any data
3.now if you have no problem to lose your current window 10 os then you can delete that partition and reinstall windows in UEFI mode

Or you have try another complicated solution if you want to keep your current window 10 system if you interested then i will give step by step instruction
