hello , need help been trying to unlock a huawei router b310s which has firmware 21.316.xx on it followed the tutorial of opening it sodering a usb cable to it. since it has no usb port , then creating a bootshot but when i connect the usb to pc says usb device not recognised have tried soldering other usb cable same thing what else can i do to get it to get detected to pc thanks..

Solution

1. Usb pinout does not prompt detection straightaway ; after soldering the usb pinout

You need the two test point for detection


2. Windows 10 has usb not recognized problem
Fix is available

Trying to unlock is good but you do bear the risk

You can Prepare for safe remote service and unlock at an affordable price

i  did the pinout using tweezer and connected power cable and router remained off . connected usb cable still brought usb not recognised i use windows 7. i can bear the risks as i have unlocked the other models the b315s which have usb port to it. just havent unlocked the b310 model before.

i did exactly soldered tried two diferent usb cables solderng to it and did the bootshot still got the same thing usb not recognised will solder again @ send pic of my usb pinout

Have soldered again & added my pic of soldering usb pinout let me know if my soldering is ok  . Am Still getting usb not recognised??

try
installing proper drivers
disconnect and reconnect soldered points with different usb cable
a different PC

@freshtyt i have all drivers installed using windows 7 same pc i use to unlock the b315s model which have usb port without any issues , but will try reinstall again drivers again
