After flashing twrp into my phone, whenever I boot into the twrp recovery, it will always show internal storage as 0mb as if it doesn't show any folder on the storage but will show that of SD card, how can I fix this 
apart from moving my flashable zips to SD card in order to be detected?

Where did you get the TWRP?
What's the phone's chipset?
