HELP WITH ACER BATTERY ISSUES

Plz i got a new acer laptop, if i charge it to any percentage say 100% , if i disconnect charger fron the laptop and i keep on using it, the laptop battery indicator remains at that 100% till it dies off.... i.e d battery indicator doestnt read battery status and wont reduce at all.... It stays at that 100 altho its getting reduced until it finally dies off...
How do i solve this hovatek?

How did the problem start?
Did you recently repair a hardware component on the motherboard?
