 I'm trying to unlock my huawei Hilink usb modem E3533s-2 under MOBILIS mobile operator using a wrong firmware :


Huawei_E3533_Firmware_22.318.05.00.00_Universal

during the updating it show me the Error: 21 Failed to restore user information

after that message, my usb modem can't be detected

are there some ticks to do in hardware to factory reset or reset it ??

any suggestions are appreciated,

READ THIS

It can be detected with dead boot method using the boot pin procedure

There exist on the pcb , golden round points

Find any flexible metallic pin,

Place one end of the pin to any golden point, and place the other end to the metal casing found on the modem,

Thereafter , hold the attachment and connect usb cable,

You can use a usb hub to make it easier...

Try all other golden points connected to the metal casing via the pin, one will cause pc to detect this driver

Huawei Diagnostic Com Port....

That point is the boot point

Using balong Downloader to flash your modem usbloader...

Thereafter flash modem firmware and update webUI

To complete repair process


Like in this picture try all the points one after the other with GND (any metal casing on the modem board serves as gnd)

Then connect usb , one will surely cause the modem to be detected by pc

Huawei_E3533s_Firmware_22.318.29.00.403.rar

I extract these files and I found only firmware without usbloader

I used : Huawei Modem Flasher v1.6©fr3nsis

I used : Balong_USB_Downloader_1.0.1.10 to upload each of these 18 files , but it can't reconized them as usb_laoder

i think this modem using v3 algo code, why are you guys even trying to update the firmware?
those files are not usbloader / usbsafe bin files. balong won't work
usbloader for this model isn't available, you may want to consider trying to flash firmware from dcunlocker instead
