This unit came to me dead brick. The owner said he tried to format it including bootloader.

An MTK backup is in two phases.
The backup you have there is for the first phase. You then need to use MTK droid tools to prepare it. Follow the link in my previous reply

my old friend in KSA whom i have given the infinix x352 as gift also got his phone soft bricked but he already went to a lot of shops and currently they installed some unidentified software... it is not booting up.. only shows some flickering screen..
i need a copy of this ROM however the link below is no longer active.
