I suggest, never do any kind of modification before you have the right stock ROM for your phone.

you can port and flash twrp but you can't do this if you don't have firmware for your build. have you been able to make a firmware backup yet?

Good morning,

Please, magisk has not work for me up till now. I followed the instruction to update it. I noticed when I choose the option to patch boot.img and then locate it on my phone, it will not patch and nothing is downloaded to the magisk folder.

What can I do in this case as I need the patched boot.img to root my phone.

ensure your device has internet access before attempting to patch boot
and when you select the boot.img for patching, is there any error message? attach a screenshot of the log

Good day,

I'm connected to Internet No error comes up while magisk tries to patch the boot.img (it just pick the boot after choosing it and does like it going to process n download but nothing happens).
Is there another way as I had preferred the magisk version used in the video bcos these latest one is not helpn matter.

Thanks
