I assume you know how to use SP flash tool and familiar with ADB commands.
I also assume that you've installed VCOM and set-up ADB and fastboot on your PC.
Procedure:

Download TWRP that I ported for myself and scatter file for tecno phantom 8 from here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SoU_MEb...sp=sharing
Download latest magisk zip (superSU was unable to patch the boot image)
Extract and flash the recovery using SPFT
Boot to recovery, click "Change language " and change it to English. Then swipe to allow system modifications.
You must format data to remove forced encryption and access the /data partition that will lead to wiping all your userdata and media files.
Else you can use adb sideload feature to sideload Magisk zip to root the phone.
You can verify root by installing root checker basic from here https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai....rootcheck

Hello chief,

Did you get any problem after rooting? And is it possible to install android oreo 8.1 after rooting? Cause i want root mine also

I'm not a newbie in rooting and stuff and for Oreo not unless you wait for Tecno to provide an official update as you can't develop tecno phones as they don't publish their source codes to the public.
