If you accidentally deleted a system app or file like SMS, radio, contacts, phone etc from the /system folder and wish to restore it the here's how to go about it:
Note: This guide assumes the phone is still rooted, able to boot to home screen, install apps and you have apk(s) you'd uninstallled
- Get the file(s) / app(s) you wish to restore
- Copy the file(s) / app(s) to the phone's memory card
- Install ROM Toolbox Lite (download @ https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...ty.toolbox) on the phone
- Launch ROM Toolbox and grant Super User permission
- Select Root Browser in ROM Toolbox
- Scroll down to Sdcard and select it
- Locate the app(s) / file(s) copied to the SD card, longpress and select copy
- Press the green arrow button at the top to exit the Sdcard directory
- Open the /system/apps folder
- Paste the app(s) / file(s) into the apps folder
- To set file permissions, long press the file and select Permissions
- Reboot the phone
