I tried rooting my camon 20pro by flashing a boot.img file that was patch with magisk. I became stuck in a bootloop.
I got the boot.img file from a stock rom for ck7n i downloaded from Hovatech...
I want to flash only the boot.img file back and see if it will help, but i keep getting error messages like scatter file not valid and some others...
I have watched virtually all the video from hovatek on YouTube, but still no +results...
I didn't disable anyth before trying this rooting.
I need help please🙏
If u have unlock bootloader ,if u can boot to recovery even when in boot loop ,use adb reboot bootloader
Then u can flash back your stock same build number boot image
Or use third party software to flash when u can't boot to brom mode
I have been able to flash the stock rom back, thanks for the assist....
Now i want to root this phone, can u tell me how to go abou so i dont get a bootloop or any other issues this time... i was told to 1st disable dm verity before rooting
