What is the name and model of your phone?

If your phone's Wi-Fi can't detect 5GHz networks, it's due to a hardware limitation, and unfortunately, there's no way to change this.

But my phone is unisoc t603 android 14 if rooted I can use this app.

Unisoc T603 It only has wifi 4, which means only 2.4Ghz, no application can convert to wifi 5 "5Ghz"

Prefer does not mean convert.
The application just says to prioritize the 5Ghz network over 2.4Ghz, but the device must support 5Ghz wifi, not that it converts from 2.4 to 5Ghz, that's complete nonsense what you're saying.
