I have an Doro Liberto 820 Mini which is super problematic (4008 error when downloading with SPFT, 6012 error when firmware upgrading or formating on SPFT and i only can use one DA file with it). But one time i bricked it and when all sort of SP flash tools version were not working with it, i found Multi flash tool, which worked. It only worked when the was stuck in BROM mode.

So now i need it to brick it again so i can flash my custom firmware, that included custom EBR1, MBR and scatter file.(I needed more space on recovery partition so i can flash TWRP without no compresion or without any features lost, also to flash TWRP or my compiled CWM at all because the recoveries circulate from 7 to 9 mb and i only have 6 mb on recovery partition.

Sooo, how can i hard brick it?

I have an Doro Liberto 820 mini which is very problematic (4008 error when downloading with SPFT, 6012 error when using firmware upgrade or format option and i only can use the DA file the Company provided me because other ones do not work, including MTK_AllInOneDA.bin). But one time while my device was bricked i found Mediatek Multi Flash tool which worked with the default DA file, but the tool only works in BROM mode and my device cannot be rebooted with button combination and crash to BROM does not really work and only way i can get to brom is to brick my device.

I was planning to flash custom firmware with modified MBR, EBR1 so i can have 10 megabytes on boot and recovery partition (for custom roms), because now i only got 6 megabytes of recovery and boot partition and the size of the ported and compiled one is 7-9 megabytes. (that also includes cwm recovery).

So how can i hard brick my device?

Also does anyone know required boardconfig.mk flags and what to do so the compiled recovery boots and works normally, including TWRP and CWM

Most of the fastboot commands like oem or sideload because they are not configured or disabled for security measures

You can use android utility to crash preloaded to brom mode.

Well crashing into BROM with that utility does not really help at all, the Multi flash tools cannot configure COM port because it says it is still in preloader mode and spft still acts the same, but gonna try again just in case

There's no need to brick the device. Try methods mentioned @ https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-forc...brom-mode/

If you insist on bricking, just use the DA the provided and format only preloader https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21638.html
