Hi all,
I've been dwelling down the rabit hole of Androids, without any prior experience in ROM flashing etc on mobile devices.
I have a Hugerock X7 tablet, which i use for navigation on my motorbike.
The ROM from Hugerock directly limits the Android app RAM usage to 512MB, which when loading multiple gpx files into my navigation app, makes it quite laggy.
following questions:
- from my understanding, within the ROM, the RAM allocation for app usage is delimited, given that the device has 8GB, I would like to increase the RAM allocation to 768-1024. How can this be done?
- the tablet seems to utilize a MT6771 chipset, which if i understood correctly, is boot locked as all MediaTek? How do i go about unlocking it?
- Any recommendations on a solid custom ROM to support running LineageOS afterwards?

Thanks!
